Virtual MTT
Have you ever wondered what to do after you complete a certificate course for edtech tools such as Canva, Magic School, Diffit, or School AI? This course will give purpose to these learning activities beyond adding it to your email signature line!
Virtual Master Technology Teachers is a statewide collaborative virtual learning community where educators meet monthly to explore innovative technology integration tools and strategies. Between sessions, participants complete microcredentials from leading edtech tools to enhance their digital teaching skills and classroom impact. After mastering each tool, the participants will upload their certificates or other evidence of completion in order to obtain credit.
The virtual meetings will account for 3 hours. The tech tool certifications will account for up to 17 hours. This enables the participants to earn up to 20 hours of PD credit. Meeting 1 is mandatory. Meetings 2-6 are optional.
Certificates will be submitted as assignments in Schoology. Each assignment will be worth 1-3 credit hours.
Meetings for the 2025-2026 year are via Zoom from 4 PM to 4:30 PM CST on the following dates, which are the last in-school Wednesday of each month:
